iPod Shuffle 3G was launched 3 days back, on 11th March, 2009. The “jaw-droppingly” tiny 4GB piece of greatness was received with wide smiles. But, in contrary to the feelings of people in the previous launches, where everyone was so happy about it, the unexpected launch of iPod shuffle 3G, left hundreds (if not thousands) of iPod shuffle 2G fans desperate and wanting to find the meaning of their lives! Unfortunately, that includes me and my dear friend, @ArunGeoJohn! While people were still trying to lift their ‘dropped jaws’, we set out to come up with something heartening to the loyal fans of iPod shuffle 2G, the product, which revolutionized the way, people listen music. We’ve jotted down some points, which aims at throwing a ray of hope to the minds of those, who’ve been thrashed by the new iPod, gazing into infinity, while holding their hands high, with the 2G, clinched in their fists, with all affection. And, in its honor, we’ve done a smart and stylish photo shoot of the mighty iPod shuffle 2G. Yes.

Now, that us, the ones with 2G are pretty consoled, let’s welcome the successor, 3G (C’mon. Clap. I know it’s tough, but just, just clap!). The friendly guys ( @preshit, @goobimama, @aryayush) over at the beautiful Smoking Apples, put it this way:
Think of it this way. Apple has taken its $30 earphones which you’d normally buy from their store, packed a 4GB flash stick and an mp3 player into a tiny aluminum container and is selling that to you for just $40 more. – @preshit
The real question is, has Apple made an sexy new music player that is irresistible to shell out some dough for, even in these trying times? Hell yeah! – @goobimama
That’s indeed, awesome. No wonder, “iPod” ruled over “iPhone”, the past few days on Twitter !

Good post. I liked the pics, but the article and saying that the iPod 3G is flawed is wrong. First, it’s SMALL! Second, you *can* use yourbown headsets with it. Apple is comingnout with an adapter.
