Its not the problem with Linux ! Bootloaders, BIOS, Partitions etc are the things which an OS needs. Not the reverse. Every OS is a slave of these three things.. Its not the problem with Linux ! Bootloaders, BIOS, Partitions etc are the things which an OS needs. Not the reverse. Every OS is a slave of these three things..

It is steadily improving no-doubt, but it still isn't there yet. It will always be the geek standard, if you are a wanna-be geek, you ought to have some linux distro on your machine.
