The world is changing, but some people can’t. It’s high time to end the meaningless party-politics prevailing in countries with immense potential for development, like India. We need our leaders to be techies. We want them to understand and utilize the new technologies and new ways of communication and interaction. Unfortunately, at present, most of them are stuck in traditional ways of thinking and action (more talk, less action).
As I have stated in my earlier posts, today’s youth is the receptor of all these technologies and innovations. They are People 2.0 (powered by connectivity and interaction along with actions), whereas today’s politicians and leaders are still People 1.0 (they say, we hear, nothing happens).
Hoping for the present leaders to change and adapt to the already-born new world is asking for too much. They can’t. They have to LogOut soon and today’s youth have to SignUp and LogIn a.s.a.p to lead the new world of positivity, prosperity and endless possibilities.
Some have already responded to the call:
** American Presidential Candidate Mr. Barack Obama has launched a cool Web 2.0 site for wider, efficient public interaction. Congrats to him!! (His YouTube channel has now 1crore+ views).

I agree Arvind, leadesrs should be tech savvy which intern will help them improving tech opportunities and developing supportive infrastructure in the country. But there is always resistance to change, Leaders will have to pay special attention to this matter.
Of course, techie.
It takes time..
i donno why i kkp telling it….
but i wonder wats the proportion of this nwe gen logged on young indians…….
i gues for every 1 there are a 100 out there in the cold….
it true we are growing…… i wonder is it in a haphazard manner?
but i’m not suggestin to throw away your mouse and take up manuel labour
but i am reminded of wat i found stimulating in my school text books long back
on the opening pages there was something called gandhi’s talisman…….. go through it one in a while…. i dont think world is as flat as u wish to think!!!!!!!!!!
Yups. I’ve read Gandhi’s Talisman many times.
it urges us to think whether what we do is doing any good for the poorest in the country.
That’s a great thought, i agree and i respect your thoughts and opinions.
Now, if you ask me, “what do this article does to the poorest”; I wil have to say, Nothing, but Something. This doesn’t directly help them in any way. let me ask you a question back. You are being graduated and what does that contribute to the poorest???
I stated a fact. Implementing it is a whole another story. It needs proper team-work and meticulous planning which I or YOU can’t do on our own. For that to happen, a change is needed at first.; and i was talking about that change which would act as the “start”.
Gandhi’s Talisman doesn’t point to the immediate effect, but the final effect.
Thus, THIS ARTICLE IS doing something great to the poorest (not calling for a change); but calling for the initiation of a much-needed change.
That was a great comment, Tony.
Had a nice discussion.
More new opinions expected..
i agree….
